Tonight! Think Tank Youth Unemployment Event

This isn’t quite an opportunity to participate in a workshop or course but definitely something you need to know about if you’re a young person considering a career in the arts, so a quick post from us, especially as it takes place TONIGHT!

Here’s what they say about it:

Hello, I know we’ve never met. But I bet I know more about you than you think…  wait hear me out. Let me guess, you love being creative and you absolutely 100% know it’s the career path for you. Unfortunately you’re stuck in a job where you’re shuffling papers and making endless cups of tea. You just don’t get that buzz you desire.

If you’re constantly trying to get your foot in the door (see what we did there? Nevermind) or not really doing very much of anything, we’d
love to meet you. You see we’re trying to bring like minded people together to swap stories, ideas, debate and hopefully come away with some much needed inspiration.

So after all the effort I put into sussing you out, I’d like you to come down to The Old Vic Tunnels for an evening where we discuss Youth Unemployment and hear talks from special guest speakers. I mean where else do you begin in such a competitive industry and how the heck do you get paid?

Ah, go on… be inspired! This is an open discussion that focuses on the many routes that lead into a career within the creative industries, specifically for young people.

And this is when / where / how:

Thursday 26th January 2012, 6.30pm

This is a FREE event that will take place in The Reading Room of The Old Vic Tunnels. Refreshments will be provided.
